The Position

We are looking for an independent self-starter experienced in public accounting and looking for near-term partnership potential, in a collaborative, professional environment with real opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax return preparation (partnerships, corporations, trusts, gifts, and individual returns)
• Tax projections and planning engagements
• Sales, excise, and payroll tax preparation
• Financial analysis and research
• Client consultation and communication with taxing authorities
• Staff supervision and review
• Workflow and process improvement

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of public accounting / tax experience
• CPA (preferred), or pursuing certification, EA, or a Master's in taxation
• Strong team skills, ethical standards, and communication abilities
• Project management skills and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Lacerte Tax
• Comfortable working in a paperless environment

• Existing client relationships
• Experience with Office Tools practice management software
